Bedroom Renovation

In this two-century-old residence, we removed the sagging multiple layers of the ceiling and expertly reframed it to achieve perfect levelness. We replaced the aged horsehair plaster on the wood lath walls with fresh sheetrock throughout. After meticulous taping, mudding, priming, and painting, the room now boasts a pristine appearance. The previously green-painted floor underwent thorough sanding, caulking, and blemish correction before receiving two coats of Benjamin Moore floor paint. We preserved the house's original trim while integrating historic replacement windows.

Versatile Kitchen Island

In this residence, a galley kitchen was somewhat isolated from the rest of the house. When the homeowner welcomed a child into their home, the need arose for a visual connection between the kitchen and the living room. Our solution involved transforming the existing doorway into an inviting cased opening. Additionally, we introduced a butcher block countertop section, accomplishing two goals: seamlessly connecting the kitchen and living room while also creating a welcoming space for up to four people to gather, whether for entertaining or, in the future, for homework sessions.

Crafted a Front Doorway

This house originally featured two side entrances, with only upper windows facing the street. Through diligent effort and multiple stages of improvement, we introduced lower windows and a centrally positioned front door, complemented by a portico and a covered stoop to delivered packages from the elements.
